TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR STUDENTS (ADMISSION & ENROLLMENT) विद्यार्थियों हेतु नियम एवं शर्तें (प्रवेश एवं नामांकन) (Applicable for all Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate, Honorarium Doctorate Theological Programs) 1. PREAMBLE AND LEGAL AUTHORITY | प्रस्तावना एवं वैधानिक अधिकार These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between Episcopal Christian University (“the University” or “ECU”) and the Enrolled Student. ECU is a unique Bible research university. By submitting the admission application, the Student promises to adhere to all rules with sincerity, unity, and complete integrity, giving the Holy Scripture the central place, and promoting spiritual growth with righteousness and justice. These Terms are issued under the authority of the University’s Bye-laws and the ecclesiastical license granted by the Episcopal Church Diocese of India Council. By enrolling, the Student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws of the Republic of India. ये नियम एवं शर्तें (“नियम”) एपिस्कोपल क्रिश्चियन यूनिवर्सिटी (“विश्वविद्यालय” या “ECU”) और नामांकित विद्यार्थी के बीच एक बाध्यकारी समझौता हैं। ECU एक अद्वितीय बाइबिल अनुसंधान विश्वविद्यालय है। प्रवेश आवेदन प्रस्तुत करने पर, विद्यार्थी मन की सच्चाई, एकता एवं सम्पूर्ण सत्यनिष्ठा के साथ प्रत्येक नियम का पालन करते हुए पवित्रशास्त्र को मुख्य स्थान देने, तथा सम्पूर्ण धार्मिकता एवं न्याय के साथ आत्मिक उन्नति को बढ़ावा देने की प्रतिज्ञा करता है। ये नियम विश्वविद्यालय की उपविधियों और एपिस्कोपल चर्च डायोसिस ऑफ इंडिया काउन्सिल द्वारा प्रदत्त धार्मिक लाइसेंस के अंतर्गत जारी किए गए हैं। नामांकन करने पर, विद्यार्थी यह पुष्टि करता है कि उसने इन नियमों और भारत के सभी लागू कानूनों को पढ़ व समझ लिया है। 2. NATURE OF INSTITUTION AND ACADEMIC RECOGNITION | संस्था की प्रकृति एवं शैक्षणिक मान्यता 2.1 Theological Education Only: The Student acknowledges that the University is established under the administrative and ecclesiastical license of ECDIC, exercising rights under Article 26 of the Constitution of India. The University strictly provides Theological Education, Ministry Training, and Religious Studies. 2.1 केवल धर्मशास्त्र शिक्षा: विद्यार्थी यह स्वीकार करता है कि विश्वविद्यालय ECDIC के लाइसेंस के अंतर्गत स्थापित है, जो भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 26 के तहत अधिकारों का प्रयोग करता है। विश्वविद्यालय पूर्णतः धर्मशास्त्र शिक्षा और धार्मिक अध्ययन प्रदान करता है। 2.2 Limitation of Degrees: The University is entirely self-funded and is NOT recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, or any governmental secular educational board. Degrees, diplomas, or certificates awarded do not confer any secular rights, state/central government employment eligibility, or equivalence to UGC-recognized degrees. 2.2 उपाधियों की सीमा: विश्वविद्यालय UGC, AICTE, या किसी भी सरकारी शैक्षिक बोर्ड द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त नहीं है। विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा प्रदान की गई डिग्रियां या प्रमाण पत्र किसी भी प्रकार के धर्मनिरपेक्ष (Secular) अधिकार या सरकारी रोजगार की पात्रता का दावा नहीं करते हैं। 2.3 Validity of Degrees: The academic credentials issued are ecclesiastical and theological in nature. They are valid only within Christian Organizations, Bible Colleges, Institutions, and Theological Universities for ministry and religious study purposes. The Student agrees to be satisfied with the certificates awarded according to the Holy Scripture. 2.3 डिग्रियों की मान्यता: विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा जारी योग्यताएं पूर्णतः धर्मशास्त्रीय प्रकृति की हैं। ये केवल ईसाई संगठनों, बाइबिल कॉलेजों और धर्मशास्त्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में ही मान्य हैं। विद्यार्थी सहमति देता है कि पवित्र शास्त्र बाइबिल के अनुसार जो भी सर्टिफिकेट्स दिए जाएंगे उसमें वह संतुष्ट रहेंगे। 3. ACADEMIC DELIVERY, DURATIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES | शैक्षणिक वितरण, अवधि एवं उत्तरदायित्व 3.1 Classes and Customization: The University offers programs through Online and Offline modes. The University reserves the exclusive right to customize or modify course durations based on prior theological training (RPL). 3.1 कक्षाएं एवं अनुकूलन: विश्वविद्यालय ऑनलाइन और ऑफलाइन माध्यमों से कार्यक्रम प्रदान करता है। पूर्व प्रशिक्षण (RPL) के आधार पर पाठ्यक्रम अवधि को अनुकूलित करने का अधिकार विश्वविद्यालय के पास सुरक्षित है। 3.2 Student's Academic Duties / विद्यार्थी के शैक्षणिक कर्तव्य: a. The Student agrees to the syllabus run by ECU and promises to complete all assigned homework continuously during the academic session. a. मैं एपिस्कोपल क्रिश्चियन विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा चलाये जा रहे पाठ्यक्रम से सहमत हूँ और प्रतिज्ञा करता/करती हूँ कि शिक्षा सत्र के दौरान मुझे जो भी गृहकार्य दिया जाएगा मैं उसको निरंतर पूरा करूँगा/करूँगी। b. The Student agrees to abide by every decision taken by ECU, including changes in timings, syllabus alterations, and modifications in instructions. b. मैं विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा लिए गए प्रत्येक निर्णय का पालन करूँगा/करूँगी, तथा समय परिवर्तन, पाठ्यक्रम परिवर्तन एवं निर्देशों के समस्त परिवर्तनों का अनुसरण करूँगा/करूँगी। 4. STATUTORY COMPLIANCE AND VOLUNTARY ENROLLMENT | वैधानिक अनुपालन एवं स्वैच्छिक नामांकन 4.1 Voluntary Study & Prohibition of Forced Conversion: Enrollment is entirely voluntary. The University strictly prohibits any religious conversion carried out through force, coercion, or allurement. The Student agrees to comply with all applicable Anti-Conversion Laws in force in India. 4.1 स्वैच्छिक अध्ययन एवं जबरन धर्मांतरण का निषेध: नामांकन पूर्णतः स्वैच्छिक है। विश्वविद्यालय बल, दबाव या प्रलोभन द्वारा किए गए धर्मांतरण को पूर्णतः निषिद्ध करता है। विद्यार्थी भारत में लागू सभी धर्मांतरण विरोधी कानूनों का पालन करने के लिए सहमत है। 5. DISCIPLINE, FEES, AND TERMINATION | अनुशासन, शुल्क एवं प्रवेश समाप्ति 5.1 Fee Commitments :The Student promises to pay all required fees on time, specifically including the Registration Fee, Course Fees, and Convocation Fee. 5.1 शुल्क प्रतिबद्धता: मैं विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा जो फीस (Registration Fee/पंजीकरण फीस, Course Fees/पाठ्यक्रम फीस एवं Convocation Fee/दीक्षान्त समारोह की फीस) मांगी जाएगी उसको मैं अवश्य दूँगा/दूँगी। 5.2 Cancellation of Registration: If the Student fails to participate in the complete course or fails to pay the full course fees, their registration shall be canceled, and they shall have no right to claim any certificate. 5.2 पंजीकरण रद्द होना: मैं प्रतिज्ञा करता/करती हूँ कि यदि मैंने सम्पूर्ण पाठ्यक्रम में भाग नहीं लिया या सम्पूर्ण पाठ्यक्रम की फीस जमा नहीं किया तो मेरा पंजीकरण रद्द कर दिया जायेगा और मैं किसी भी तरीक़े से सर्टिफिकेट के लिए कोई दावा नहीं करूँगा/करूँगी। 5.3 Discipline and Conduct: The Student agrees with the teachings and thoughts of ECU and promises to follow them as a good witness. The Student shall remain fully disciplined and shall not engage in any irresponsible or illegal activities against the law. 5.3 अनुशासन एवं आचरण: मैं विश्वविद्यालय की शिक्षाओं और विचारों से पूरी रीति से सहमत हूं तथा एक अच्छे गवाह के रूप में उनका अनुसरण करूँगा/करूँगी। मैं अध्ययन के दौरान सम्पूर्ण रीति से अनुशासित बना रहूंगा/रहूंगी तथा कानून के विरुद्ध कोई भी गैरजिम्मेदाराना एवं गैरकानूनी काम नहीं करूँगा/करूँगी। 6. LEGAL COMPLIANCE, INDEMNITY, AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY | विधिक अनुपालन, क्षतिपूर्ति एवं बौद्धिक संपदा 6.1 Indemnity & Personal Liability: The University operates solely as an educational entity. The Student agrees to indemnify and hold the University harmless from any legal proceedings, civil or criminal, arising from their personal conduct, ministry, or independent actions outside the University’s direct supervision, and the University shall not be held responsible in any manner. 6.1 क्षतिपूर्ति एवं व्यक्तिगत उत्तरदायित्व: विश्वविद्यालय केवल एक शैक्षणिक संस्था के रूप में कार्य करता है। विद्यार्थी परिसर या विश्वविद्यालय के सीधे पर्यवेक्षण के बाहर अपने व्यक्तिगत आचरण, सेवकाई या स्वतंत्र कार्यों से उत्पन्न होने वाली किसी भी कानूनी कार्यवाही (दीवानी या आपराधिक) से विश्वविद्यालय को मुक्त रखने और क्षतिपूर्ति करने के लिए सहमत है। एवं विश्वविद्यालय किसी भी प्रकार से जबावदार नहीं रहेगा। 6.2 Intellectual Property & Cyber Conduct: All study materials and notes are the intellectual property of ECU (Copyright Act, 1957). The Student shall not unauthorizedly reproduce or distribute them. Defamation of the University on social media or digital platforms is strictly prohibited under the Information Technology Act, 2000. 6.2 बौद्धिक संपदा एवं साइबर आचरण: सभी अध्ययन सामग्री और नोट्स ECU की बौद्धिक संपदा हैं (कॉपीराइट अधिनियम, 1957)। विद्यार्थी बिना अनुमति के इन्हें साझा या प्रतिलिपि (Copy) नहीं करेगा। सोशल मीडिया या डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर विश्वविद्यालय की मानहानि सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अधिनियम, 2000 के तहत सख्त वर्जित है। 6.3 Dispute Resolution: All disputes shall first be referred to the University’s Internal Grievance Committee. Unresolved matters shall be settled as per the University's Bye-laws, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent University Councils. 6.3 विवाद निवारण: सभी विवादों को पहले विश्वविद्यालय की आंतरिक शिकायत समिति को भेजा जाएगा। अनसुलझे मामलों को विश्वविद्यालय के उपनियमों के अनुसार निपटाया जाएगा, जिसमें सक्षम विश्वविद्यालय परिषदों का विशेष क्षेत्राधिकार होगा। 7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, SPIRITUAL PLEDGE, AND DECLARATION | विद्यार्थी द्वारा स्वीकृति, आत्मिक प्रतिज्ञा एवं घोषणा a. Spiritual Pledge: I will continually move forward, understanding God's calling with great humility, trusting in God's gifts, grace, and Word. I will serve God with full integrity in my life through my personal testimony and the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. a. आत्मिक प्रतिज्ञा: मैं परमेश्वर की बुलाहट को समझकर बड़ी शालीनता के साथ परमेश्वर के वरदानों, अनुग्रह एवं उस भरोसे के साथ जो परमेश्वर के वचन के द्वारा दिया गया है, निरंतर चलता रहूंगा/रहूंगी। मैं अपने जीवन में अपनी व्यक्तिगत गवाही एवं प्रभु यीशु मसीह के प्रेम के द्वारा परमेश्वर की सेवा को पूरी सत्यनिष्ठा से करता रहूंगा/रहूंगी। b. Truthfulness of Information: I agree that all information provided by me in the Registration Form is completely true. If any information is found incomplete or false, I, and only I, shall be responsible, and I consent to be removed from the University's syllabus and activities. b. जानकारी की सत्यता: मैं इस बात से सहमत हूँ कि पंजीकरण पत्र (Form) में मेरे द्वारा दी गयी समस्त जानकारियाँ पूर्ण रूप से सत्य है तथा यदि कोई भी जानकारी अधूरी अथवा गलत पायी जाए तो, मैं और सिर्फ मैं ही जवाबदार रहूँगा/रहूँगी, और मैं सहमति देता/देती हूं कि मुझे पाठ्यक्रम एवं समस्त गतिविधियों से अलग कर दिया जाये। c. Legal Acknowledgment and Declaration: I explicitly acknowledge that ECU is a Theological Institution. I declare that my religion has not been changed through the education provided by the University, nor have I been trained in religious conversion. The education provided by the University is strictly Bible-based, and the degree I receive is valid solely for Christian organizations, Bible colleges, and theological universities, and does NOT provide eligibility for secular government jobs. c. वैधानिक स्वीकृति एवं घोषणा: मैं पूर्णतः अवगत हूँ कि विश्वविद्यालय एक धर्मशास्त्रीय संस्था है। और मैं घोषणा करता हूँ की विश्वविद्यालय में दी गई शिक्षा द्वारा मेरा धर्म परिवर्तन नहीं हुआ है और मुझे धर्म परिवर्तन का प्रशिक्षण नहीं दिया गया है, विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा दी गई शिक्षा पूर्ण रूप से बाइबिल पर आधारित है, एवं मुझे प्राप्त होने वाली डिग्री केवल ईसाई संगठनों, बाइबिल कॉलेजों और धर्मशास्त्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों के लिए है और धर्मनिरपेक्ष सरकारी नौकरियों के लिए पात्रता प्रदान नहीं करती है। d. Final Consent: I know and fully understand that if I break any of the above promises or act contrary to them, I will be denied the opportunity to participate in the course. I am signing this with my full heart, reading, understanding, and of my own free will. d. अंतिम सहमति:मैं इस बात से सहमत हूं तथा पूरी रीति से जानता/जानती हूँ कि ऊपर दी गयी समस्त प्रतिज्ञाओं को यदि मैं तोड़ता/तोड़ती हूँ अथवा इसके ऊपर कोई अलग प्रक्रिया देता/देती हूँ, तो मुझे पाठ्यक्रम में सहभागिता का अवसर नहीं दिया जाएगा। मैं अपने सम्पूर्ण मन से पढ़कर एवं समझकर अपने स्वयं की इच्छा से हस्ताक्षर किया है।
